Security Engineer

About The Role
A scaling B2B SaaS business is looking for a Security Engineer to embed security practices directly into their engineering workflow, rather than bolting it on at the end. You'll work alongside engineering, not just audit it.
What You'll Do
- Embed security reviews and threat modelling into the SDLC
- Run and triage vulnerability scanning and penetration testing programmes
- Build tooling to make secure-by-default the easy path for engineers
- Respond to and lead incident investigations when they arise
What We're Looking For
- Experience securing modern cloud-native applications (AWS or GCP)
- Practical AppSec experience: SAST/DAST tooling, secure code review, threat modelling
- Strong communicator able to work with engineers who aren't security specialists
- Relevant certifications (OSCP, CISSP) a plus but not required
