Senior Platform Engineer
Own the internal platform that every product team builds on, at a Series C fintech scaling fast.
About The Role
Our client is a fast-growing fintech platform processing millions of transactions a day. They're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to own the internal developer platform that every product team relies on.
You'll work closely with engineering leadership to define the platform roadmap, and with product teams day to day to remove friction from their workflow. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role at a company that genuinely invests in platform engineering as a discipline.
What You'll Do
- Own and evolve the internal developer platform (Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD)
- Define golden paths and self-service tooling for product engineering teams
- Drive reliability, observability, and cost-efficiency improvements across the estate
- Mentor engineers adopting platform tooling for the first time
What We're Looking For
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform in production
- Track record building internal tooling or platforms, not just consuming them
- Comfortable owning architecture decisions and communicating trade-offs to stakeholders
- Experience with GitOps-style CI/CD pipelines
